Oakdale-Funeral service for Andrew Jack Fisk, 75 will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Mt. Hope Baptist Church of Oakdale. Rev. Brantley Bryan and Rev. A.J. Trosclair will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery of Glenmora under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes of Oakdale.
The family will receive visitors at Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale, Saturday, August 5, 2017, from 3-9 p.m. Visitation will resume Sunday, August 6, 2017, from 8-11 a.m. and will resume at Mt. Hope Baptist Church at 1 p.m. until time of funeral.
Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a man of strong faith and a member of Mt. Hope Baptist Church. Jack was a proud member of IUOE Local 406 for fifty years. He served our country in the United States Navy for six years and was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Jack’s memory include his wife, Carlene Fisk; two sons, Andrew Jack Fisk, III and wife, Betty A. Fisk, and Mark Jason Fisk and life mate, Rhonda; one stepson, Joseph Samuel Bullock and wife, Brandi Bullock; one stepdaughter Paula Michelle Rodriquez; one sister, Ella Mae Dionne of Port Arthur, TX; nine grandchildren, Santanna Gayle McMasters and husband, Ronnie McMasters, Michaela Mary Fisk, Mark Jason Fisk, Jr., Nathan Lane Fisk and life mate, Joanna, Kylie Bullock, Karly Bullock, Gabriel Rodriquez, Daniel Rodriquez and Jason Rodriquez; 2 great grandchildren, Gabriella Caprice McMasters and Nora Mae Fisk.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Fisk, Sr. and Pearl Fisk; one brother, Carl Singley, Jr.
