Charles was a loving father, grandfather, and friend. He was a native of Oberlin and worked hard to provide for his family over the years as a building contractor. He also owned and operated River Bend Lounge for over 15 years where he was known to everyone as “Good Time Charlie”. He loved to shoot pool, hunt, fish, and have a good time. He loved and lived life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Brandon Charles Lacey, and wife, Brandi, of Dequincy; two daughters, Stacey Lynn Trahan and husband, Jory, of Jasper, TX and Catherine Joyce Lacey of Lake Arthur; two sisters, Eva Joyce Tunks and husband, Butch, of Sulphur and Linda Ray Baggett and husband, Glen, of Bundick’s Lake; and four grandchildren, Justin Lacey of Lake Arthur, Taylor Ann Trahan and Brooklyn Grace Trahan, both of Jasper, TX, and Ella Renee Lacey of Dequincy.
