Oakdale-Funeral Service for Ralph Lynn Seaman, 69, will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at First United Pentecostal Church of Oakdale. Rev. Tim Kelley will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at First United Pentecostal Church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Ralph was married to his high school sweetheart, Carol, for fifty-one years. He served in the military during the Vietnam War and was also stationed in Korea. He worked at Boise Cascade for 40 years. He loved to hunt and loved to run his dogs. Ralph attended First United Pentecostal Church all of his life. He loved his family very much and was a very caring person who would do anything for anyone. He always bragged about his brother, Glenn, being the best Pentecostal minister in the organization. Ralph will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Ralph’s memory include his wife, Carol Seaman; stepfather and wife, John and Joan Yates; one brother, Rev. Glenn Seaman and wife, Nell; one niece, Kimberly; one nephew, Nathan Glenn Seaman; two great nieces, Avery and Delayni; two great nephews, Aubrey and Kamdon; as well as very special friends to Ralph and Carol, Jerry, Patricia, Connor, and Maribeth Butts.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey Lee Seaman and Myrtia Dean Freeman Seaman Yates;
Pallbearers will be Randy Bailey, Jerry Butts, James Whitley, Russell Leblanc, Kevin McGee, and Nathan Seaman.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association in Ralph’s memory.
